Welcome, parents and students to
Bristol Grammar School dance lessons with Miss Daisy
| Miss Daisy, a qualified teacher with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and the Royal Academy of Dance, she has vast experience in teaching Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary and Modern to toddlers, children and teenagers. Miss Daisy trained in musical theatre at The Bristol Old Vic and studied dance at the Dance Academy South West and Liberatus School of Performing Arts.
Her true passion is teaching and sharing her love and knowledge of dance with others. She is looking forward to meeting you at a BGS dance class soon, where it will be her pleasure to teach all students and ensure they have lots of fun! If you are looking for an excellent teacher who will encourage and motivate you to learn and attain high standards in dance, join BGS dance and see what you could achieve.
Classes will follow the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus for ballet and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD) syllabus for modern. Examinations are available for those that wish to take them, to help you recognise your personal achievements in dance.

Looking back on the year
Congratulations
Congratulations to everyone who took the exams this year. We had some amazing results and Miss Daisy was very proud.
We had a 100% pass rate with Distinctions and Merits; maintaining Miss Daisy 100% exam pass rate with the RAD and ISTD.
Thank you
Thank you to everyone for your continued support this year. Miss Daisy has really enjoyed teaching the BGS students.
I hope to see you all again in September ready to work hard, point our toes and enjoy the art of dance.
Show
Here are a few snap shots of our show this year. What a great show, I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.
Every student made me proud and I can’t wait for the next one. Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to all the back stage help.
Miss Daisy will now offer tap lesson for beginners on a Thursday evening. It’s a chance for all ages to learn tap dance following the ISTD syllabus.
We will trial the tap classes till December and review the popularity. We now have a Bristol Grammar School Competition team for juniors and seniors.
The groups will be performing at dance festivals in the hopes to qualify to the all England dance competition.
Miss Daisy has space for private lessons on Saturdays for more info please email Miss Daisy.
